Crystal Jones Joins Race Forward as Chief Operating Officer

NEW YORK — Race Forward today announced Crystal Jones, an experienced operations leader with more than 25 years of experience in finance, technology, and personnel management, has joined the organization as Chief Operating Officer.
In this role, Jones will oversee all finance, operations, and human resources functions for the organization, including budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, financial planning and strategy, asset management, risk and liability management, information technology, systems management, and human resources. She will also serve as a member of the organization’s Executive and Senior Leadership teams.

Prior to joining Race Forward, Jones held a variety of senior leadership roles with the Girls Scouts of Citrus, FL, including Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer, Vice President of Member Experience and Director of Volunteer Management. In these capacities, she advanced strategic plans to serve the organization’s clients, worked to engage staff and customers, and developed plans to drive growth and expansion. She has also held leadership positions within the banking industry.
Jones is deeply committed to community service and is on the Board of Directors of the NAACP and several other organizations.
