This Fall, ARC completed a strategic overiew of trends in rural America. Contracted by the National Rural Funders Collaborative (NRFC), the report, Zeroing In: Choices and Challenges for the National Rural Funders Collaborative, examines how demographic and economic changes in rural areas have exacerbated poverty in communities of color.
The report also assesses the challenges of making funding decisions that will have a long-lasting effect in rural communities and recommends both criteria and specific approachs for funders of rural projects to consider.
Full report (64 pges) available from ARC Publications for $20.
Executive Summary (10 pages): $10.
