Erin Zipper got her start as a scraggly teenage runaway who used to make zines about the politics of being young using the corner store xerox machine. She found her way into co-coordnating a DIY publishing operation for court-involved young people at AS220 in Providence, Rhode Island. She later attended Parsons the New School for Design and Eugene Lang College to simultaneously complete a B.A. in Urban Studies and a B.F.A. in Communication Design. She gets good and passionate about using visual communication to make important ideas about our society and how it works more accessible to the masses.

Erin has had the pleasure of designing for a number of awesome clients who are working for social justice, such as Third Root Community Health Center, the Association for Neighborhood and Housing Development, and Maysles Documentary Center. Prior to igniting ARC's visual flame, she was the Communications Manager and Social Justice Bootcamp director at Project Reach NYC.
