Ramon Ramirez is a Distinguished Taconic Fellow of the Washington D.C based organization, Community Change. Ramon was a founding member of PCUN, Oregon Farmworkers Union, and served as President from 1995 to 2018. In addition to Race Forward, Ramon serves on the Board of Directors of the Farmworker Housing Development Corporation, Center for Popular Democracy and the United Farmworkers of America Foundation. Ramon is currently a member of the Higher Education Coordinating Council for the State of Oregon. Ramon is a co-founder of CAUSA, Oregon’s Immigrant Rights Coalition, and is a Board Trustee member of Warner Pacific University in Portland, Oregon.
